Foster parent must obtain authorization to cut the child's hair and piercings. Always!

You need to check with your family social worker prior to getting a child’s haircut. 

Foster parent and the agency must  get permission from the child’s parents in any situation where there is active parental involvement. 

Always consult with your agency social worker. You will be told by your agency social worker whether you need to continue to ask permission.
